Summer Adventures Program

 

Welcome to Montessori Children’s House Summer Adventures Program.  Our programs are held from June 1 through August 14.  Classes are offered in two week sessions, so you can register your child for a minimum of one session or for the entire summer.

 

Expect lots of fun as our programs will consist of both indoor and outdoor activities.  We will offer both Montessori work as well as theme based activities during each two week session.

 

 

 

Class Times

18 month – 3 year old

Half Day Summer Program 9:00-12:00

Full Day summer Program 9:00-2:30

 

3 - 6 year old

Half Day Summer Program 9:00-12:00

Full Day summer Program 9:00-2:30*

 

*Enrichment activities will begin at 1:00.  We will have Living History Farms, Keyboard West, Des Moines Symphony, Urbandale Gymnastics, Mad Science, and art for Enrichment. 

 

Tuition

Half Day 9:00-12:00            $200.00

Full Day 9:00-2:30              $362.00

 

 

 

Extended Care

Before Care and After Care hours are available each day from 8:00 am to 9:00 am and from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

Fees are $35.00 per session for Before Care and $65.00 per session for After Care.

 

 

 

Lunch

Students attending the Full Day program must bring a sack lunch and a drink each day.  They will rest or nap after lunch so please bring a blanket and small pillow.

 

 

Registration

To register your child, please complete the form below.  All June camps payments are due by May 1st, all July by June 1st, and all August by July 1st.  Enrollment will be limited and will be filled on a first come, first serve basis.  We will allow families new to MCH this fall to register after April 17 if space is available. 

*Note:  If we do not have enough students enroll we will not hold the class.  We will make that decision by April 24^th.
